Jim White is the sole owner of MowerTech, and he does it all. Jim is the Founder, CEO, and Mechanic. Jim and his wife Mary work together to make all the decisions which allows MowerTech to be a successful business. Jim has over 30 years experience fixing mowers and lawn care equipment for the Wichita area. The dream of owning his own shop started many years ago and he is excited to show you what he has to offer.
Family has always been the center of Jim's life. Being a family man Jim knew he could earn some extra money by helping people with their mowers and other small engine repairs. That's when Jim's dream of owning his own shop started, being a young family they all worked together to get the job done. Washing the mowers and riding with dad to deliver the finished product was always a family favorite. As the girls grew up family has always remained the most important. Even today, James (Jim and Mary's youngest) can be found at MowerTech helping his dad work in the shop.
MowerTech officially opened the doors in April of 2016, with seasonal service and small engine repair, but Jim White has been working on mowers for over 30 years. Fixing lawnmowers has been a family business for quite some time. Having a large family, six girls and one boy, Jim used his mechanical repair skills to provide extra funds for family activities. These winter and spring projects were a family affair, with the whole family pitching in to help. Whether that meant washing the lawn mowers with dad or riding along to pick them up, everyone was committed to providing the best service while having some family fun. As time went by, Jim began to dream of owning a shop where he could service, repair, and sell lawn equipment, while also getting to spend time teaching his son how to fix things. Often if you stop by MowerTech you will see James helping his dad fix mowers. This father/son duo is ready to help you with all your lawn mower needs!
